Condolences
I had the pleasure of volunteering with Sister Helen for several years at the English Conversation Club at Memorial Park Library. She was always so kind and cheerful despite her health challenges. Every week, she came early to prepare for the class and had fun songs and activities. Her cheerfulness had such a positive impact on the class participants, who were of all ages and backgrounds. Her Irish soda bread was also appreciated at the potlucks we would have at the end of each term! I am so glad to have known her.
We are so sad to hear that Sr. Helen passed. We will miss her a lot.
She was one of our spiritual leaders during our CIM formation. May Sr.
Helen Rest In Peace. Carla and Danilo
To the community of FCJs in Calgary and throughout the world, my sincerest condolences on her passing to Eternal Life. She will be deeply missed as part of the community in Calgary but her memory will remain in our hearts always. Tp her family as well, may her welcoming smile be a consolation for you as we continue to walk our pilgrimage towards the Eternal gathering of all God's children. May she rest in joyful peace and love.

I had the good fortune of working at the FCJ CENTRE most recently, and Sr Helen was a spark, no a fire, of liveliness, energy, laughter, fun and beautiful, heartfelt conversation. She touched my heart in the short time I spent at the Centre. Sr Helen, your energy was infectious!!! Prayers and Love, Michelle Brennick
Last September Sister Helen was to be my mentor for Roman Catholic Initiations for Adults. Only recently did I learn that Laureen Swann took her place because of Sister Helen's diagnosis. Given all the spiritual support and warmth I received from Sister Madeleine and Lisa Gilead as my Spiritual directors and Laureen Swann as my mentor, I know it would have been a wonderful experience to have known Sister Helen closely. My deepest condolences to all who loved Sister Helen.
I so enjoyed meeting Sister Helen every year when she would attend Diane C's Christmas party together with Sister Terry. She always had lots of stories to tell us while she munched away on popcorn.
Rest in peace Sister Helen.
Sending Condolences in the death of Sr.Helen. She is with Jesus now as His Faithful Companion she was on earth.
One of her last servings was being with us in our Formation group in Calgary.
Her smiles, fun and words of wisdom were very much appreciated.
Praying for our wonderful FCJ Sisters at this time and Helen’s family.

My condolences to the family of Sr. Helen and all FCJ Sisters.
I never met Sr. Helen in person, but know her through other FCJ Sisters who talked very highly and lovingly about her. I want to mention that Sr. Helen was involved in the summer camps offered by the FCJ at St. Philomina, "Camp TLC", for many years. One of her many contributions to the camp was her cooking. She prepared all meals with great care and precision, I was told.
I know that she was a support to many, and that she will be missed terribly. I share your pain.
Eternal rest grant unto Helen, O Lord, and let Your perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen.
In sympathy, Isabel Kovalik
I was blessed to have met Sister Helen in 2015. We spent time together at my cabin on several occasions and she was the sweetest, most tender-hearted, Faith-filled person I have ever met. Her bravery and strength after her cancer diagnosis was inspirational.
Sister Helen—may you Rest In Peace. Go to God. ❤️
