Condolences
I am so sorry to learn of Paul's passing--too late to come to the celebration of his life. I extend my deepest sympathy and condolences to all of his family. Paul and I shared many years at Crescent Heights High School. We had good times at the games and gatherings of staff there. As you grieve for him, I hope that you will be comforted by all of your wonderful family memories.
In sympathy, Fran Cormack
On behalf of the Calgary Brewers Slopitch Team, our sincere condolences on the passing of Paul. We just heard of his passing last night at a get together including former friends and teammates. Paul was an outstanding player and leader for our team. He played shortstop, hit third in our lineup, and led us to a number of league championships. After he retired from playing, we enjoyed having him as an umpire at our games.
I was saddened to hear of Paul's passing. My condolences to the family. I taught with Paul at Crescent Heights High School and I had fun skiing with Paul and other CHHS teachers.

Sorry to hear about the passing of Coach. I learned a lot about commitment, responsibility to the team, and what it means to be part of team. In my career I pattern my coaching style after his, it’s not the system but what you do with the players you have! I’m thankful for crossing paths with Coach because he definitely influenced my life. It’s hard to believe that he coached me way back in 1977. He will be deeply missed by all but not forgotten!
I was saddened to hear of Paul's passing. I enjoyed working with Paul at Bowness High School. He was a good man with a big heart. My condolences go out to his family.

We were so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. We got to know Paul through hockey - Jeremy and our son, Cole, were teammates for several years. He was a devoted (and vocal!!) hockey grandparent. He loved to chat before and after hockey practices and games and we always had a laugh or two. And when he got his dog, Rider, we'd go to a field so our dogs could run and play together while we sipped coffee and shot-the-shit. Cole also played Cowboys Football for a year with Paul as one of the coaches. Paul knew our older son, Dawson, to be a huge NFL fan with a brain full of statistics so he enlisted him to be a stat-keeper for the team that year. Paul was generous in that way. Rest easy, friend. xo Penny and Derek, Dawson and Cole Payne

McKay family. We are saddened to hear about the passing of Paul McKay. What always impressed me about Paul was his love and devotion in working with young people. Whether it was teaching in the classroom or on the football field his dedication and passion of coaching stood out each and everyday. He will be missed and remembered by so many who knew him.
Love you my friend,

Dear Karen and family,
You are in our thoughts. Please accept our condolences on the loss of Paul - a great teacher, coach, mentor and family figure. Our world has lost a good man who will not be forgotten.
We are saddened to learn of Paul’s passing, our deepest condolences go out to Paul’s Family. It was a pleasure teaching and coaching with Paul as part of the Physical Education Team at Forest Lawn High School. A great time for us was when our Grandson Taylor became part of the Bowness High School Trojan’s Football Team and Paul was his coach. Paul had a tremendous influence on Taylor’s development as a young man, a football player, his physical fitness discipline, his overall sportsmanship and respect for others. Thanks Paul for all you have done for so many students and athletes over your career.
My deepest condolences to Paul's family. I was privileged to work with Paul at Bowness High School. He was passionate about helping students and passing on his knowledge and wisdom as a coach. I was fortunate that he coached both of my sons. His memory will live on in all the lives he touched.
My condolences to all the family. It was a pleasure to work with Paul at Bowness High school. We retired the same year. He will truly be missed.
To Karen and all the Family
Ours thoughts and prayers go out to you all, Paul will be missed by so many and his memory will live on.

Paul, you are gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
Coach and loving husband of Karen, your spirit lives on well. Paul taught and coached so many young adults in the Calgary community that playing any sport needed a purpose. Always play with passion, but remain a good sport. Look to be a great teammate, not the scoreboard, for accomplishment. Finish strong.
Paul, should be honored by having his coaching skills carried on. There is no question he has influenced so many young adults to give back.
Coaching is a profession of love that Paul excelled at.
