Condolences
I work as a senior companion and am often at the place she lived. She was such a bright light and a cheery face to see. It was a pleasure to get to know her, if only for a short time. She is greatly missed by those who knew her there.
Linda was amazing. I met her at Hatch and she was cheerful and always willing to help. She will be greatly missed.
I am so sad to hear of Linda's passing. She was wonderful and very lovely person. She always greeted me with big hug and smile. She always asked about my kids and family. I will miss her! God bless her soul.
I met Linda for the first time a few years ago and felt an immediate bond with her. My son and I visited her regularly after that and I was touched by the way she knew so many of the residents where she lived and how she reached out to touch them in regular, consistent, loving ways. She had a regular schedule of when to help others such as to wheel a friend to dinner or meet for a visit. She always had a kind word and a smile for all and was quick to express appreciation to other residents, caregivers and friends for each small act. As her health deteriorated, we would discuss her challenges and with a resolve to move forward as best she could, she would bravely smile and say, "That's life!" In the few years my son and I have known her, she has lifted us, taught us and been a good friend. We'll miss you Linda!! Allan and Dallan Hogenson
I am so sad to hear of Linda's passing. She truly was one of my favourite cousins! My mom, Mabel Hull, stayed at Linda's home when she first moved to Calgary and our family really appreciated her hospitality. I remember Linda's love of rings and how proud she was of her collection. I always loved to visit with Linda and she would call me sometimes and we would enjoy each other's company so much! I talked to her a few months ago and I will miss her!
