Aniano Amorin Jr., beloved husband of Emily Lavapiez of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at the age of 39 years.

 

Yano was born in Sigma Capiz, Philippines on February 23, 1983. He immigrated to Calgary, AB, Canada in 2014.

 

He graduated from The Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), with a certificate in the Heavy Equipment Technician program on the Dean’s List. Yano had countless achievements, one being a cum laude during his college days, and recently became a part of Canadian Pacific as a Diesel Mechanic.

 

Yano married Emily Lavapiez in 2012 and has two beautiful, lovely daughters, Aebrielle and Aelesha. He is a member of many different groups but the one that he’s most active in is the motorcycle club called Biglaan Gang 2.0, as his passion is in bikes and cars.

 

He will be most remembered for his generosity, kindness, and warm inviting attitude. His faith is immeasurable, as he is active in the church. He was a mentor, a leader, a good friend and a great father.

 

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McInnis & Holloway (Deerfoot South, 12281 – 40th Street SE, Calgary, AB) on Thursday, September 15, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., for family and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm for everyone.

 

Funeral Services will be held at First Alliance Church, Discovery Theatre, upper level, south side of the Church (12345 – 40th Street SE, Calgary, AB) on Saturday 17, September, 2022 at 1:00 pm. Reception to follow in Discovery Theatre. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.
