I had the honour of getting to know Don, although not until the later years of his ALS and I will never forget how his character, wit and humour always shined through!
His ability to maintain tremendous dignity through adversity was very admirable and I wish everyone could have met him for that reason!
Thank you Valerie, for bringing me in to meet your dad and allowing me the privilege to work with him and your family. Your mom and dad have always had a special place in my heart from the minute I started to get to know them. I send my deepest condolences to you, your mom and brothers.
