Condolences
We would like to pass on our deepest sympathies to the Zan family in the loss of your mother and grandmother. We first met Ed and Val when we bought our acreage at Aldergreen Acres in the early 1990’s. Over the years, we enjoyed many card parties, birthday lunches, “City Slickers” barbecues, Christmas celebrations and the odd murder mystery night.
Val certainly had her own very strong views and didn’t hesitate to make them known to others but she was a true friend to all.
She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by friends and family. You are all in our prayers at this very difficult time.
We were sorry to learn of your Mother's (Mother-in-law's, Grandmother's) passing! We met Val after her retirement, but she was still very energetic and pursued a variety of interests. We remember her homemaking and hostessing skills, and her unique personality! We had memorable summer visits with Val and Ed, and enjoyed many games of Cribbage with them, and Scrabble with Val. She had a knack for entertaining her grandchildren with an assortment of games which they loved and will surely always remember!
She will be remembered and missed by all her knew her!
Don and Jeannine Thompson
