Condolences
Dave was a pleasure to teach: positive, enthusiastic, engaged, dedicated and fun. And a leader. I am not sure what else to say, but since his education professor dad died relatively young I always worried that something was lurking in the genes. Dave, you were one of the special students who made teaching such as rewarding experience.
My deepest condolences to the family! I had the privilege to work with Dave at NuVista for a few years! I remember his laughter and his kindness to everyone!
Thinking of you Dave as 2022 is coming to a close. I remember your kindness & wonderful hearty laugh when I visited with you & your family in Pemberton. We had a beer & then you lent me a bike to ride with you and a couple of your friends through Pemberton. What fun!
You are now with your Dad (Orville), Nana & all the many relatives that have also passed onto another realm.
I'm sure you're creating a new "brew" to share with our family.
Your cousin, Karen Orr
I had the privilige of working with Dave for a number of years. His hearty laugh, his great foosball shot, his willingness to do the extra bit are how I remember him
Growing up in Saskatoon while Dave was in University here it was always a treat when he came by with his good-natured and boisterous personality. Rest in peace, Dave.
This is sad news; David has always been such a pleasure to be around. His honesty, his concern about family and friends, interest in current issues and willingness to share his views over a drink made him great company. He was also an excellent geologist with whom it was a pleasure to work. I will miss him. My heartfelt condolences to his family
Dave was a great co-worker and friend that always gave thoughtful advice whether it was about Geology or Life in general. I will miss his positivity and good natured personality. He was taken from us way too soon. May God bless him.
