Obituary of Skylar Robyn Wesley
December 14, 1991 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our daughter Skylar Robyn Wesley on October 5, 2022 at the age of 30.
Skylar will be greatly remembered for her quiet way of being around people, her quietness and shyness meant that she was very observant of things around her but once she became confident in getting to know people, she always showed respect for them.
Skylar was raised in a home where she was taught the Nakoda values of life, which she demonstrated throughout her life. Skylar started her education in Cochrane at Glenbow Elementary in grade 1 and finished at Mitford Middle in grade 8. She attended high school in Edmonton and graduated grade 12 from the Wesley Nation Education Program.
In 2019, Skylar started her career in Journalism at SAIT which was interrupted by the Covid pandemic but because of her love of animals she was forced to think about continuing her education in veterinary services.
Skylar will be greatly missed by all who knew her and remembered for her wacky way of dressing and the many different colours of hair she had throughout her life by this she was making a statement on how she wanted to be remembered.
Skylar is survived by her great-grandmother, Viola Wesley; her mother Tara Wesley; sister Tiara Wesley (Cassidy); her brothers, Darion Wesley, Lennox Pantherbone, and Taylor McNab; her father Morris Crow (Neisha); grandparents, Ernest and Belva Wesley; uncles, Steed Wesley and Ira Wesley; many cousins and extended family members; and her special animal pet/friends Tiny & Hilary and cat Lou. We apologize if we missed anyone.
Skylar was recently predeceased by her special aunt Stana Wesley (2021), and many other grandparents, cousins and extended relatives of the Wesley family who are too numerous to mention.
Wake Services will be held at the residence of Viola Wesley (Morley, AB) on Monday, October 10, 2022. Funeral Services will be held at the residence of Viola Wesley (Morley, AB) on Tuesday October 11, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Wesley Cemetery (Morley, AB).
