Obituary of Linda Lee Lockhart

January 30, 1950– Victoria, British Columbia

October 18, 2022– Calgary, Alberta

Linda Lockhart (Kemble, nee Fawcett), beloved wife of Brian Lockhart, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at the age of 72 years.

Linda was born in Victoria, BC, on January 30, 1950, and moved to Calgary, AB, in 1973. She married Brian Lockhart in 2013. Linda accomplished much throughout her life and was particularly proud of her sewing, painting, and wine-making endeavours. Linda's most memorable vacation was when she and Brian visited Dubai in 2012, she also enjoyed her many Sandals vacations throughout the Caribbean, and river cruises in Europe and Russia. Linda will be most remembered for her dedication to fitness routines around the condo and the help she gave others in many areas.

Besides her loving husband, Linda is survived by her three sons and one daughter-in-law, Adam Kemble, Larry Kemble of Calgary, and Samuel Kemble and Beth Stonechild of Edmonton; and six grandchildren, Meadow, Lindsay, and Logan Kemble, of Thunder Bay; Brynn and Gavin Kemble of Calgary; and Natanis Stonechild of Edmonton. Linda is also survived by her sister Marcia Grafham of Calgary, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Linda was predeceased by her spouse Lloyd Kemble, father John Fawcett, mother Melba Petersmeyer, and sister Sandra Enefer.

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. Reception to follow at Linda’s residence. Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Mrs Lockhart’s service streamed live (see below) on the day of the service.
