Condolences
Dearest Jablonka family
I remember you all so well. My “high school” sweetheart Sam was just as described in the beautiful obituary .
Sam and I dated in our early years at Henry Wisewood High School . It was my very first crush that became a relationship for a long time .
Rest In Peace dear Sam . It’s wonderful to hear about your life and the person I know you were . Kind , loving , caring , including everyone embracing all like family. Sam was the truest of friends way back when we were young. It’s wonderful to read about all the trueness he carried throughout his life.
Magda and Albert I know his memory will be a blessing. May his memory keep you company in your loss.
Thinking of you at this time .
Much love
Shelley (Davids) Zbarsky♥️
Dear Gail: Tom and I have so many wonderful, happy, fun (funny) memories of Sam, and of course you. Those CJAY trips, back in the day, were great because of the fabulous people, like you and Sam. Sam was a true friend and gentleman. Always there with that great big happy smile. We are going to miss him, but just so grateful that our paths crossed. Gail treasure your love and memories with Sam, you two were true soul mates!! With Warm friendship, Debbie and Tom xo
Sincerest condolences to Gail and Sam's family from the nurses and health care aides at Unit 47, Foothills Hospital. It was an honour to care for Sam in his final days and he certainly left a mark on us. We are so grateful for the gift of warm comfort you've given us, thank you.
We send healing prayers and comfort to Gail, Al, and the entire family. We feel your pain.
Sam will be forever remembered for his kindness, goodness and generosity that he gave us (and everyone he came into contact with during a life shortened. We cherish not only the laughs and good times but also the sad and challenging times together. Whether in the restaurant or at our home Sam always made us (and our family/friends) feel welcomed and loved.
Our lives are enriched because of the man Sam was and while he will forever be missed he will NEVER be forgotten.
RIP our dearly departed brother.
Very sorry to hear this news. I worked for Sam at Schanks, years ago. What a great guy and great boss. He really made everyday there fun and always had time to mentor me. Prayers for the family.
My thoughts and heart go out to Al , Gail and all the rest of the family. Life was certainly better having Known Sam as a friend…
This is a wonderful tribute to a truly gracious, funny, always welcoming friend.
My heart and prayers are with Gail, Al and all who knew Sam for he will be very much missed.
His energy was infectious, at home, at work, just watching tv.
Blessed and Thankful are the two best descriptors for the time I was able to spend with Sam, All the times Sam and Gail opened their home to me or we met at a restaurant. Laughter and fun were always on the menu.
May his smiling face be a lasting memory.
