Below is a caption written by one of Charlie’s grandchildren and it is the perfect description of the beloved man, father, grandfather and husband who will be remembered with love and admiration forever.

“This is a photo of my Zaida Charlie that my Aunt redid a few years ago. He had suffered a series of strokes since Friday night. He meant the world to me. As a kid he was there for me more than anyone other than my parents and I will never forget the connection we had. He was a Holocaust survivor and lived more lives than most people ever do. His family had a lot stolen from them during the war and he never let us forget who we are and where we came from.”

Funeral Services will be held at the Beth Tzedec Synagogue (1325 Glenmore Trail SW) on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at 12:00 p.m., officiated by Rabbi Ilana Krygier, with interment to follow at Erlton Jewish Cemetery.
