Marino Di Napoli of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at the age of 60 years.

 

Marino was born in Calgary, AB, on March 3, 1962, and graduated from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology with a Diploma in Broadcasting Technology. He accomplished much throughout his life and was particularly proud of his works on numerous films and TV productions.

 

Marino enjoyed his work as a Reiki Master, and Yoga Instructor, as well as many outdoor activities including hiking, biking, & riding his motorcycle. He also volunteered with the suicide prevention hotline. Marino’s most memorable vacation was when he drove to California with a group of close friends.

 

Marino’s favourite saying was “Be who you are, and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind” by Dr. Seuss. He will be most remembered for his kindness and willingness to always help others.

 

Marino is survived by his three brothers, Frank, Luigi, and Gerry Di Napoli; and three sisters, Ann Di Napoli Urciuolo, Maria Valenti, and Cristina Di Napoli; as well as a number of cousins, nieces, and nephews, and Sophie. Marino was predeceased by his parents Domenico Di Napoli and Elena Di Rienzo Di Napoli.

 

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McInnis & Holloway (Chapel of The Bells, 2720 Centre Street North, Calgary, AB) on Thursday, October 27, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

 

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Chapel of The Bells, 2720 Centre Street North, Calgary, AB), on Friday, October 28, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at St. Mary Cemetery. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.
