Condolences
We were absolutely shocked to hear of Gord's passing. Gord was one of the most bright, kind, fun and humble persons we have known. We met through work but our friendship continued long after business hours and days. Gord's love for cooking, especially smokery, and entertaining, usually involving a wee dram of scotch, leaves wonderful memories and smiles. Sincere condolensces to Charlene and Troy - you will always be in our thoughts.

So sorry to hear of Gord’s passing. One of my fondest memories working with him at ConocoPhillips was him introducing me to Twitter and following the Food Trucks. In food truck season, he would stop by my desk at lunch and ask me to join him and others to get lunch at the park where the trucks would be. He gave me some awesome guidance through my time at work. His jovial laugh always made me smile. I can still hear it. Condolences his his family and friends.

Gord could always look at life with positivity. I worked with Gord for several years at ConocoPhillips. His hearty laugh would fill the office like a big wave, and you would see smiles roll across the room just as fast.
Gord had the best sense of humour and a great laugh. Always kind and would listen to whatever my question was with interest. He will be missed by so many.
Very sorry and sad to hear of Gord's passing. I worked with Gord many years at ConocoPhillips, including a few where he was my supervisor. As others have said, Gord was one of the good guys who was very easy to chat with about work, tech or whatever you please. I'm not sure I had a single conversation with him where he didn't make a joke, punctuated by his good natured laugh. My prayers and condolences to his family and friends.
What a gem of a man. Gord was so quick to laugh; it was infectious and he was often at the center of any fun or mischief at work. Even during the tough times he would stay positive, the first to speak up and reassure others that everything was going to be okay. He was one of the people you looked forward to seeing at the office everyday.
He died too young and the world is a dimmer and sadder place without him...
Gord approached every day with humour and a good attitude. A joy to be around. May his memory be a blessing.
So very sorry to hear of Gord's passing. Hard to believe he's gone. Gord and I worked together for about 30 years at Hunter, Burlington, and then Conoco. I learned a lot from Gord and always enjoyed working with him. He was so easy going and yet so good at what he did. Gord had a wonderful sense of humour and was always kind to those around him. He always saw the best in people and always gave them the benefit of a doubt. Gord certainly left his mark on those who worked with him and he will be greatly missed.
Really sad to hear about Gord passing away. He was one of those people who made going to work enjoyable. His laugh would make you laugh. He will be missed.
I was sad to hear of Gord’s passing. He was such a personable leader and had an ease about him that made everyone around him feel welcome. He was the “go to guy” for all things trendy: food, spirits, gadgets! Music too- silent lucidity. And that laugh- hearty and genuine. Gord you will be missed. Thoughts are with your family -

Gord hired me 9 years ago and jump started my career in Oil and Gas and I still there, today. It came at a very pivotal point in my life and was one of the kindest things anyone has ever done for me. All throughout the time we worked together he was the best. So warm, so funny and so kind. I'll never forget him and everything he did for me.
Charlene and Troy. I was so devastated to hear this news. I worked with Gord for close to 20 years. It was a great pleasure to know and work with him. He was a kind, generous, calm, funny man and I will miss him.
