Condolences
I had the pleasure and privilege of knowing and flying with Kevin at the CuNim gliding club in the late '70s and through the 1980's. He was an outstanding pilot and flying instructor. I have fond memories (and pictures) of a dual flight we did just for fun to 15,000' in weak wave right over the club. I just found out about Kevin's passing; my sincere condolences to the families for their loss. I will never forget Kevin or his many antics, and I hope the great memories of Kevin will provide some condolence in your time of grief.
Dear Patricia and Family
My name is David Jivcoff and I just learned about Kevin's death. I am so sorry to hear this. I grew up and went to school with Kevin and his family in Midland Ontario. We shared most of our activities, including the love of nature including hunting, and doing voyageur type canoe trips. He was an amazing friend. And he even tutored me when I needed help. He reached out to me a few years ago, but we drifted again as I had my own family cares including cancer. I was thinking about him when I found this news. Now I miss him. I am so sorry, and I hope and pray for your family for peace and comfort. I will be praying much for him, as I know he is in God's hands. Peace and care, David
My condolences to Kevin's family. I knew him well back in the late '80's when we both played hockey for Husky Oil. He was an unbelievably good goalie, we won four championships, over two leagues, in four years with him backstopping us. He was like a wall back there. He was so into the game, he hated to lose, just as I did. He went on to become quite a successful Oil and Gas man. Good for him. He was very smart and I am not surprised he did so well in life. He was the kind of guy you just knew would succeed. I lost touch with him after the late 90's, though he and Patricia did attend one of my parties. That was the last time I saw him. I was very shocked to read this news, I never knew he was not well. Patricia and family I will be praying for you all asking God to ease your pain and hoping your memories and pictures will help to sustain you going forward. He was a real man. So sad to read this.......
