I only found out about Vern’s death now. He was a true gentleman whom I learned to know through our common friend, the late Evelyn DeMille. Vern had a curious mind and broad knowledge in so many different areas that made conversations with him always interesting, as did his firm opinions and words of wisdom. I really appreciate having known him. Condolences to his family.

My condolances to his family. Vern was the Best Manager that I have ever worked for. He was a Leader and Teacher. I thought he was a Giant against his peers. I owe him a great deal for his past guidance. He will be remembered as a Mentor
