Obituary of Blossom Robina Rollinmud
May 3, 1986 - Calgary, Alberta
October 25, 2022 –Calgary, Alberta
We are deeply saddened to announce that Blossom (Boo-boo) has made her journey home to be with our Creator in the spirit world on October 25, 2022 at the age of 36 years.
Boo-Boo really loved and cherished her two children, whom she tried very hard to make a home for. No matter what she always made sure she had a connection with her kids.
She was educated in Exshaw, and Morley Community School, she danced in the powwow circle as a young girl and made many friends through out her life. While living in Kelowna, Blossom learned to connect to her traditional roots, learning the meaning behind on the ribbon skirts and learning how to make one. She also learned how to pray to Creator, smudging with sweetgrass and Sage. Most importantly she learned how to be proud of who she was. Blossom was still eager to learn more, and wanted to get her children to dance in the powwow.
Blossom leaves to mourn, her two beautiful children Bella, and Blake Rollinmud; her sister Francine and brother Dallas; adopted mom Roxanne Milan; her aunts Roxanne, Amelia, and Grace Stanley; uncle Ryeland; her nieces, JoDee, Alice, Rainy, Jaylin, Kresa, Mikka, Blake, Beckia, and Star; her nephews Donvan, Manny, Jerome Jr. Cruz, Dallas Jr. Jaycee, Jamie, and Kenonn; and numerous extended family members from Rollinmud, Chiniquay, Rabbitt, Kaquitts, Young, Abraham, Whitford, Wildman, Poucette, and Rider, from Saskatchewan, and Sunchild. We apologize if we have missed anyone.
Blossom was predeceased by her common law husband Travis Wesley; mother Ralphalia; father Frank Buffalo-Calf; sister Sheryl; brothers, Calin and Cornell; and her grandparents Stanley and Clara Rollinmud.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McInnis & Holloway (Cochrane, 369 Railway Street, Cochrane, AB), on Sunday, October, 30, 2022 from 1:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Cochrane, 369 Railway Street, Cochrane, AB) on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Chiniki Cemetery (Morley, AB). Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.
