Obituary of Pauline Christina Smith

The family of Pauline Christina Smith (née Davidson) is deeply saddened to announce her passing on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at the age of 88 years, with her family by her side.

Pauline was born in Edmonton, AB, on May 20, 1934. Pauline loved nothing better than to spend time with her family, go for long walks in the river valleys with friends, as well as putter around in the yard and garden with her flowers. 

Pauline is survived by her children, Belinda (Dave), Brad (Alison), and Craig (Mona); grandchildren, Jackie (Jason), Ian (Erin), Lindsay (Taylor), Stewart, Rachel, Michelle, and Ryan; and great-grandchildren, Caleb, Abby, April, Brady, Ainsley, Jackson, and Lyla. Pauline is also survived by her sister Joanne (Lew), brother Larry (Maggie), and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Germaine Davidson; husband Stewart Smith, and grandson Tim.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Pauline’s Life that will be held at her home on Saturday, November 5, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Manor Village at Fish Creek Park in Calgary for caring for Mum during her last years, as well as her personal caregivers Rhea and Imelda, and the excellent staff at Foothills Medical Centre for their care and compassion in her last days.
