Condolences
Sincere condolences to you Shirley & Karli & Shaun and extended family. Howard & Shirley, & Peter & I shared many a smile and chat over the fence where we lived side-by-side since 1978 when we moved into our brand new houses, and never left. I enjoyed hearing about your trips, and his work with the City of Calgary, his volunteer work at the Calgary Zoo, the family, the grandkids, and how the pumpkin patch & raspberries were doing this year. Howard had a keen eye to what was going on in the neighbourhood and could be counted on to have the latest updated information. It seems he is gone much too soon and we have been caught off guard. He had lots of enthusiasm and energy, and I will miss him. Blessings.
Sincerely, Pete & Shirley
I am so very sorry for your loss. I worked with Howard at the Zoo. He was a volunteer par excellance! It was always a joy when he was entancing kids with his dinosaur expertise ! He always went above and beyond in his programs. And he was a devoted volunteer all over the zoo, especially in Penguins. He was a great man. Sincere condolences.
I am so sorry for your loss. I enjoyed volunteering with Harold at the Calgary Zoo. He was such a "gentle man" and a "gentleman. He spoke so fondly of his family so I know how much he will be missed. May there be some comfort in knowing that others are thinking of you and that they care.
With sincere sympathy,
Shirley
