Obituary of Sharon Campbell (nee Davis)

Sharon Campbell of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at the age of 73 years.

Sharon is survived by her sons, Chris and Sean Campbell (Everly); and grandchildren, Laurean Campbell and Christopher Campbell (mother Dalia). She is also survived by her brothers, Ron Davis (Janice) and Scott Davis (Anne); sister Tina Mattingly, brothers-in-law, Gary Angelstad and Glenn Williams; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Doreen and Charles (Pat) Davis, her sisters, Debbie Williams and Marilyn Saunders.

Sharon enjoyed spending time with her good friends Annie McMillan, Arlene Erfle and Karen and Ben Nielsen.  The ladies went on enjoyable and venturesome road trips, tea parties and crafty sessions.

Sharon was an avid and eclectic reader; loved being near the ocean and her favorite place was the Pacific Sands on Vancouver Island. She kept herself close to nature and enjoyed her beautiful, little garden where the bees and birds cavorted daily. She was a person who could always be counted on to do the right thing. A very loyal friend and a person with huge courage and strength.

Sharon was employed with Westburne/Wolseley for many years as Human Resources Manager for Western Canada and gave many employees their first step up before retiring in 2014.

A Funeral Service will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB) on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.

The family extends their thanks to the staff at Intercare Chinook Hospice for the care and attention they gave to Sharon at the end of her life.
