Obituary of Michael Moskaluk
October 29, 1929 – Lethbridge, Alberta
November 9, 2022 – Calgary, Alberta
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Mike Moskaluk announce his passing on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at the age of 93 years.
Mike was a man of many talents: a welder, electrician, carpenter, and a jack of all trades. He really enjoyed his collection of a variety of things, fixing and selling them. He was always one to be outdoors and liked to keep himself busy.
Mike was a hard worker and started his working life at seventeen years old, leaving school far behind. He then started his own Welding company for over thirty years before retiring and trying to slow down. Mike was an avid reader of many types of books. He enjoyed fishing in the early years. He did some travelling with his wife Mary but really liked to just stay home and putter around. Mike above all loved his family and always liked to party and socialize with others.
Mike is survived by his wife Mary of 72 years, six children, Barb (Dalayne), Marie (Dennis), John, Ed (Lana), Diane (Del) and Teresa (Myles); twelve grandchildren and seventeen great- grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, his siblings, and his beloved grandson.
A Gathering will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek Hospitality Centre, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Friday, November 18, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.
