Obituary of Carol Joyce Proulx

October 3, 1944 – St. John's, Newfoundland

November 11, 2022 – Calgary, Alberta

We are profoundly sad to announce the passing of Carol Proulx on Friday, November 11, 2022, at the age of 78 years.

Carol is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Michel, her daughter, Danielle Hennige (Cornel), her sisters, Maxine Frost (Jeff) and Donna McNeil (Kevin), her brother Andrew Hart (Judy), sister-in-law Margaret and her grandchild Logan including all of her nieces and nephews and their children. Carol was predeceased by her mother and father Ralph and May Hart, her adoring son Pierre and her brother-in-law Pete Proulx.

Carol died at home surrounded by loved ones. She was courageous and spirited and maintained her grace and sense of humour to the very end. Carol will be remembered for her warmth, kindness and loving personality.

As part of Carol's last wishes she wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you to special friends namely Lianne Brodeur, Cheryl Kingsbury and Julie Stewart of the UK.

A Celebration of Carol’s Life will be held on August 24, 2023 at the Beechwood Cemetery in Ottawa.  Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
