Obituary of Bernadette Marie Galway

November 15, 2022 – Calgary, Alberta

Bernadette Galway, beloved wife of Ross Galway and beloved mother of Nicholas Pothier, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at the age of 61 years.

Bernadette graduated from Mount Royal College with a degree in Nursing and was a member of the Alberta Association of Registered Nurses. She married Ross Galway in 1997.

Besides her loving husband Ross, Bernadette is survived by her son Nicholas Pothier of Calgary, AB. Bernadette is also survived by her two sisters, Theresa Schemenaur (Del) and Sheila Galley (Rick), of Calgary, AB; and brother David (Judy) Pothier of Lacombe, AB. Bernadette was predeceased by her brother Stanley Pothier, and her parents Paul and Catherine Pothier. 

A Funeral Service will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 2:00 p.m.  Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Mrs. Galway’s service streamed live the day of the service (see below).  For those who are unable to view live, a recording of the service will be posted soon afterwards.   Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
