Obituary of Allan Oliver Little

 

March 10, 1933 – Trochu, Alberta

November 7, 2022 – Didsbury, Alberta

 

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Allan Little on November 7, 2022 in Didsbury, at the age of 89 years.

 

He is survived by his beloved wife Donna Little;  daughters Betty (Ron Weedmark) Little, Marlene Little, Diane (John Robinson) Little;  stepsons Dan Wonnacott, Brent (Agatha) Wonnacott, Troy (Melinda) Wonnacott;  grandchildren Mike (Shaina), Tom (Jenn), Allan Scott (Jane), Jacob (Melody), Dan (Tess), Jordan, Twyla (Mike), Marj (Jeff), Patricia, Cam, Brandi (Craig), Alex, Amber, Adrianna, Donna, Ashley, Jaden and thirteen great-grandchildren.

 

The last surviving child of David Thomas (Tom) and Tena Little; Allan is predeceased by siblings Virginia, Gordon, Tom, Jack, Norman, Lorne, Gladys, Bill, Fred; his wife June Little in 1964 and stepson Derrick Wonnacott in 2016.

 

Allan retired as a Captain after a 27-year career with the Calgary Fire Department. He also served as a voluntary firefighter with the Cochrane Fire Department and on Cochrane Town Council from 1976 to 1980.

 

Memorial Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.  Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed at www.McInnisandHolloway.com.
