Obituary of Adelaide Helene Vacey (nee Bredo)

Our beloved mother, Adelaide (Ad) of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at the age of 97 years. She was born on April 5, 1925 in Hilda, AB to Jacob and Christina  (Trieber).

Adelaide was a kind, caring, supportive and loving mother. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her, daughter Lindsay (Chris Provencher); and sons, Alan (Linda) and Michael (Carolyn). A special joy to her life, always proud of, and was the happiest when they would visit were her grandchildren: Stephen (Christi), David (Catherine), Kyle, Sean, Michaela, Tatiana, and Annika; great-grandchildren: Charlotte, Nixon and Max. Adelaide was predeceased by her loving husband, Alexander (Al) Vacey and daughter Joni Hutchison.

As it was Adelaide’s wish, there was no visitation or service held. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
