It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Concetta Perrino, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend.  Concetta passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022, at the age of 87 years.

 

Concetta was born in Rotello, Campobasso, Italy on January 29, 1935. She married her husband of 60 years Vincenzo Francesco in 1954. They immigrated from Italy to Canada in 1966 with their two children, Leonardo and Cristina. 

 

Concetta had a passion for cooking and would always love to be surrounded by family and friends. She was known for her incredible kindness and generosity. Concetta loved her grandchildren dearly, and she was an integral, inseparable part of their lives. Her homemade breads, pastas and pastries were legendary, and she loved to share them with family and friends. She had an amazingly keen memory, never forgetting any details.

 

Concetta is survived by her son Leonardo Perrino (Leticia Perrino), daughter Cristina Daklala (George Daklala); grandchildren, Daniel Daklala, Diana Daklala and Vince Perrino, all of Calgary, AB. Concetta is also survived by her sister Edda (Marino) Bonazza and brother Stefano Pangia as well as numerous relatives and friends both in Italy and Canada. Concetta was predeceased by her husband Vincenzo Francesco, her sister Maria Pangia in Milano, Italy and her sister-in-law Mirella Pangia. 

 

We have lost a wonderful, kind, and generous lady.  We will love and miss you forever.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McInnis & Holloway (Chapel of The Bells, 2720 Centre Street North, Calgary, AB) on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at 7:00 p.m.

 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church (640 – 19th Avenue N.W., Calgary, AB) on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Mausoleum. Condolences, memories, and photos may also be shared and viewed here.
