Obituary of Charles Henry HODGSON

January 26, 1936 – Notikewin, Alberta May 16, 2019 – Calgary, Alberta Charlie Hodgson, beloved husband of Faith Hodgson of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at the age of 83 years. Charlie was born and raised in Notikewin, AB. He married Faith (nee Stevens) on September 5, 1960. As a young man, Charlie worked as a farm hand. He later worked on the Rigs and was a carpet layer. Charlie then worked in metal fabrication until his retirement. Charlie and Faith enjoyed the winters in Yuma, AZ for twenty years, where he enjoyed shuffleboard, playing cards, crib and pool. He will be remembered as a guy who “could fix anything”. Charlie is survived by his loving wife, Faith Hodgson; his daughters, Roxanne Hodgson (John Judy), Denise Campeol and Cheri Hartford; his grandchildren, Ryan and Ian Hodgson (Meagan Smithson), Rose and Caeden Hartford and great-granddaughter Kaiti Hodgson, his sisters and brothers; Joyce Fortier, Doreen LaFlamme, Lena Lemke, Larry Hodgson, Joe Gagnier, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Adeline and Henry Hodgson, his brothers, Clarence Hodgson, Robert Hodgson, Ken Lafoy. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY () on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at start time 10:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
