Obituary of Alexander (Alex) McElwain

November 23, 2022 – De Winton, Alberta

Alexander McElwain, beloved husband of Mary McKee McElwain, of De Winton, AB, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at 68, after battling kidney disease for many years.

Alexander was a wonderful, loving husband and a good friend to everyone who knew him. He will be remembered with much love.

Alexander leaves behind his wife, Mary, his extended families, the McKee’s and the Purchase’s, as well as many friends.

A Celebration of Alex’s Life will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Friday, December 9, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.
