Obituary of Alanna Maureen Helston

Alanna Helston of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022, at the age of 90 years. 

Alanna is survived by her brother-in-law, Thomas Veal, as well as her six nieces and nephews, Laurie, Sandra, Tom, Murray, Ian, and Stuart. 

Alanna was predeceased by her mother, Alice Helston; and her sisters, Barbara Ridgway and Sylvia Veal.

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Eastside, 5388 Memorial Drive NE, Calgary, AB) on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Alanna Helston’s service streamed live (see below) on the day of the service. For those who are unable to view live, a recording of the service will be posted. Condolences, memories and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
