Obituary of Chui Ling Lee Wing Ngok

Belinda Lee Wing Ngok, of Calgary, AB, beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at the age of 48 years.

Belinda was born in Port Louis, Mauritius, on April 1, 1974. Belinda and Philippe were married in 1995 and they immigrated to Canada in 2002. Belinda graduated from Loreto Convent in Port Louis

She was a member of the Student Council of Loreto Convent in Port Louis. Belinda worked at Bridgewater Bank for over a decade and Haventree Bank for four years, specializing as a Quality Assurance Analyst. Belinda accomplished much through her life and was particularly proud of the birth of her children and every milestone they achieved. Belinda enjoyed hiking, travelling, and cooking, especially for her family. When she was enjoying personal time, she loved to shop or watch Netflix. Belinda’s most memorable vacation was when she visited Dubai, UAE, in 2019.

Belinda will be most remembered for her endless love, selflessness, and her radiant smile.

Besides her loving husband Philippe, Belinda is survived by her daughter Amy Lee Wing Ngok, and her son Jacob Lee Wing Ngok, both of Calgary, AB. Belinda is also survived by her two brothers and sisters-in-law, Clifford Fong Leong and Jennifer Marie Louise, and Charles Fong Leong and Virginie Fong Leong, all of Mauritius; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Corinne Chong Ah Min and Tommy Chong Ah Min, of Australia, and Ginette Lai Kwan and Thierry Lai Kwan, of Mauritius; and beloved pet Ollie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Belinda was predeceased by her mother Therese Fong Leong, and father Laval Fong Leong.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McInnis & Holloway (Chapel of The Bells, 2720 Centre Street North, Calgary, AB) on Friday, December 2, 2022, from 5:00 to 9:00 PM.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Catholic Church (541 Silvergrove Dr NW, Calgary, AB), on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Mrs. Lee Wing Ngok’s service streamed live at https://st-peters.ca/private-event/ on the day of the service. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.
