Obituary of Helmut Pelzer

November 28, 2022 – Calgary, Alberta

Helmut “Tom” Pelzer of Calgary, AB, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022 at the age of 86 years.

Helmut immigrated to Canada in 1946 with his parents and sisters. He joined and served in the Canadian Armed Forces from 1954 to 1979 and was a proud member of the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry. Helmut was a long-time member of the Royal Canadian Legion. He had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed camping with his friends.

Survived by his sister’s Irma Wright and Hildegard Pelzer; and his nephews, Cal Christiansen and David Wright.
