With heavy hearts we are saddened to announce that Rob passed away unexpectedly on November 30, 2022 at the age of 58. He was loved dearly and will be greatly missed by his wife Janet, son Connor, daughter Sarah (Tanner Ashbury), mother Marilyn, and sister Karen Bond (Darrel). Rob was predeceased by his father Roy.

After graduating from the University of Calgary, Rob was employed in the oil and gas industry for 30 years as a financial professional.

Rob’s happiest times were spent with his family and friends. He enjoyed watching sports, especially hockey which he loved playing and coaching. Rob was an outdoor enthusiast with many good times spent golfing and days at the lake.

We will remember Rob as kind, humorous, thoughtful, and generous. He will hold a special place in all our hearts, and we will miss him dearly.
