Obituary of Caleb Paul Taylor Sharpe

November 20, 2004 – Kingston, Ontario

December 1, 2022 - Calgary, Alberta

Caleb Sharpe, of Airdrie, AB, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at the age of 18 years.

Caleb is the forever adored son of Scott and Amy Sharpe and best friend to his brother Alexander.  Caleb was cherished by his grandparents Paul and Cheyanne Cooney and Howard and Nancy LaGuff, his Uncle Scott and Aunt Andrea, Aunt Laurie, and cousins Keese and Madi, Levi, Iris and Ruby, great grandparents, many more aunts, uncles, cousins, and family friends.

Throughout his life, Caleb was surrounded by family, friends, friends that became like family, neighbours, teammates, and communities of parents, teachers, and coaches at Geology Trail, Our Lady of Lourdes, Thornleigh Close, Good Shepherd, St Martins, Airdrie Soccer and Nose Creek Swim Association.   In the past six months, Caleb was cared for at Alberta Children’s Hospital and for a short time at Foothills Medical Centre.  We will be forever grateful for the people that filled Caleb’s life, the care and support that has been given to us throughout his illness, and the love that will be given to us in the days ahead.

We hope when you think of Caleb, it brings a smile to your face, and you remember a kind heart and a cheeky grin.

Memorial Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Crowfoot, 82 Crowfoot Circle NW, Calgary, AB) on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at 2:30 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Caleb’s service streamed live (see below) on the day of the service. For those who are unable to view live, a recording of the service will be posted. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
