Obituary of Patsy Dorothy Stiles

February 24, 1952 - New Westminster, British Columbia

December 7, 2022 - Calgary, Alberta

Patsy Stiles, beloved wife of the late Kelly Clinton, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at the age of 70 years.

Our mother was undoubtedly an important figure in the lives of others. She was always willing to help a fellow friend, neighbour, or anyone in need. She touched the lives of many through her humor and quick wit. Patsy had an uncanny sense for the supernatural; between tarot reading and tea leaves, she tried to guide friends. Patsy was always there for a listening ear or cup of tea when someone was in need, she was incredibly sympathetic and understanding that friends and strangers alike gravitated to her compassion.

Patsy loved camping and being in nature. I remember the time we took pictures pretending to hitchhike on our bikes at camp. She loved to cook; chili, rice pudding, and her Yorkshire. I remember my brother and I running around the house while she yelled “stop running, the Yorkshire will fall”. Trying this as an adult, she was completely right.

Patsy will be incredibly missed by her children Amanda Dickson and Doug Dickson; and all of her grandchildren. She always believed death wasn’t the end, and this wasn’t saying goodbye, but see you later.

A Celebration of Patsy’s Life will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Eastside, 5388 Memorial Drive NE, Calgary, AB) on Monday, December 19, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
