Condolences
My deepest condolences to the family of Gwen Gover.
I enjoyed visiting with Gwen & hearing her interesting stories.
I especially enjoyed working with Anne, Laura & your Mom on our coffee team at Holy Cross. Gwen would phone & say
“I’ll bring the cream”. Gwen always did such a great job keeping the archives of the church happenings.-
With deepest sympathy, Gloria Reid
I first met Gwen when my boys attended King George school and she was the secretary there, in the 1980s. Gwen was the first to pay me a welcome visit when I joined the congregation of Holy Cross Anglican, where I sang in the choir with her daughter Anne. We shared a passion for the Art of Kai Neilsen, and her hats were awesome! She was a lovley person, sincere and funny, and I will miss her a lot!
How fondly I remember you as my first Sunday School teacher at St, Cyprian's. Pity that I don't recall Lloyd, although would have loved to have known you both better, given my interest in acting. Please give him my regards in heaven.
(Out of curiosity, since you were both born in '29, whom was older?)
Rest in peace,
Ian McMaster
