Janina Ploszak, beloved wife of the late Antoni Ploszak, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022 at the age of 88 years.

Janina is survived by her son, Stefan (Jackie); three daughters, Eva Cymbaluk, Veasha Motyl (Leon Fleuren), and Teresa Simpson (Charlie); six grandchildren, Jolynn, Janelle, Justine, Jamie, Joshua, and Samantha; three great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Matthew and Jordan; two great-great-grandchildren, Savannah, Sierra; nieces, Helen (Gordon) Lealke, Julie Chirstie; nephew, Ed (Leslie) Kurianowicz; as well as numerous extended families. Janina was predeceased by her husband, Antoni, son Chester, sister Milly and her son-in-law Dennis Cymbaluk.

Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McInnis & Holloway (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB) on Thursday, December 15, 2022, 2022 at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church (10 Prestwick Drive S.E., Calgary AB) on Friday, December 16, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed at www.MHFH.com.
