Condolences
Harley will be missed by me his brother Kelly. Visiting a plane wreck on the farm pretending to be pilot and co-pilot. Handgliding off the hill and working on his plane. Harleys sense of humour, and brotherly love will be missed. My condolences to his wife Patricia and daughter Stephanie. Love Kelly McCartney.

I really liked Harley. CFY4 (Indus) won't be the same without him.
He will be missed ....... as the larger than life Pilot with a great smile and Boat load of enthusiasm.

Harley was (and always will be ) such a special friend. We had such good times tinkering with his airplane (the Flying Jeep) or working on little projects at his home or mine. I couldn't begin to count the hours of pleasant conversation we had over the years. I will sorely miss him. I love you Friend.
Harley was my hangar neighbour, and friend . He was always there with a smile ,good suggestions, and a helping

With sadness we loose a friend , fellow pilot and a true gentleman that always had time for others. Many people can attests to the wonder flight he so enjoyed taking people up for a flight. Will always remember the great times flying together, sometimes in formation and other times together in his proudly self build Zenair CH801. There were the camping adventure, and sitting around his oil burning heater in his hangar sharing good old flying ,outdoor and many more topics. Will never forget the burgers he made for us as we shared in comradery. Saturday mornings was the place to be around the fire place in his hangar. We will miss you , thank you for being such a inspiring mentor.
Living next door to Harley and Pat for over twenty years has been such a blessing. He always made me smile and was a huge inspiration. He will be deeply missed.
Harley was always the life of the party especially when he pulled out the guitar! His thirst for knowledge led to many successful experiments in the garden with his grafting of trees, building his beloved plane, and always a story about some bizarre thing he read about. He will be missed as part of our family but we will always have the wonderful memories and think of him often. He was taken way too early!
We were lucky to have Harley in our family. He always had great stories and a big heart. Dale loved to swap flying stories and was amazed at his patience and attention to detail on his plane. It was a work of art. We will miss you but you will be in our hearts and memories always
I will never forget my plane ride with Harley, I really understand why he loved flying, the freedom of the blue sky and the beautiful scenery below. I will also miss Harley’s stories and jokes, he always made me smile! It was a honour to have you as part of our family and you will be missed. Love always Cindy
