Obituary of Lorne Francis Clifton Robinson

Lorne Robinson of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at the age of 97 years.

World War II Veteran, Royal Canadian Armoured Corps. landing in 1944 at Juno Beach, Normandy, France, he continued to Holland 1944, and Demobilization 1946. He rejoined in 1953 – 1965 the Canadian Peacekeeping troop with two tours in the Congo and the Middle East. 

Lorne was predeceased by his loving wife Margaret Mary (nee McCarthy). 

Lorne and Margaret’s remains have been laid to rest in the Field of Honour at Queens Park Cemetery, Calgary, Alberta. As per request no service will be held. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
