Gail Parish of Calgary, AB, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at the age of 78 years.

Gail was born in Calgary, AB, on January 28, 1944. Gail accomplished much through her life and was particularly proud of her 35-year career with Canada Post, where she made many lifelong friendships. She was very talented, and she loved to sew, quilt, and make numerous Afghans. Gail’s most memorable vacations were the ones she spent away in Yuma, and Mexico, walking her beloved Border Collies. She will be most remembered for her dedication to her husband and family. They were the light of her life.

Gail is survived by her daughter Bonny (Tony), son George (Lori), three grandchildren, Perry (Lauren), Ashley (Aaron), and Daniel (Lizz); and one great-grandchild William. Gail is also survived by her two brothers, Mel (Darlene), and Harold; sister Jacquey (Dwayne), and sister-in-law Ruth; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and her special friend Sandra Reynolds. Gail was predeceased by her husband Daniel Parish.

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB) on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
