Obituary of Feridoon Eshraghi-Yazdi

December 13, 1946 – Isfahan, Iran

December 18, 2022 - Calgary, Alberta

Feridoon Eshraghi-Yazdi, beloved husband of Mahrou Dehdar, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022, at the age of 76 years.

Feridoon, son of Ahmad and Iran, was born in Isfahan, Iran on December 13, 1946. He married Mahrou in Isfahan on December 13, 1971, and had their son Ravash on December 20, 1973. He moved to Rhodes, Greece in 1979 with his wife and son.  He immigrated to Calgary, Alberta, Canada in February 1986.

Feridoon accomplished much through his life and was particularly proud of having his own photo shop in Calgary called FM Photo. Feridoon had a passion for fishing and hunting. His favourite saying was “To what cemetery do I need to go so I can get some sleep around here”. He will be most remembered for his love of his family and especially for his grandchildren. He was a kind and generous man through out his life and never said no to anyone that needed his help.

Besides his loving wife, Feridoon is survived by his son Ravash, daughter-in-law Noosha, and his two grandchildren Neesa and Nabil of Calgary, Alberta. Feridoon is also survived by his four brothers and one sister.

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Chapel of The Bells, 2720 Centre Street North, Calgary, AB), on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Prairie Sky Cemetery.
