Condolences
Lee was always a gentleman and the epitome of an effective leader. He served our country and the military well. Our world needs more like him.
My condolences to his family.
I was so fortunate to meet Lee this past Spring, exchanging stories, experiences and laughs. Although my time with him was short, I will be forever grateful for his support. A truly amazing person. My deepest condolences to Lee’s family.
Deepest sympathy on your loss. Lee had an infectious smile and a “can-do” attitude. He was a Stampede Director and a past Chairman of the Promotion Committee. Our parents always enjoyed Lee and Liz’s company at numerous Military and Stampede events. God speed.

One hell of a decent guy and a great leader -- military and otherwise! RIP, Lee!
My memory of Lee is from his time with 14 Service Battalion from 1977 till I retired in 2007 he was an inspiration to me and be sadly missed. RIP your tour is over.
Lee was a truly great guy. I always enjoyed our visits at various Stampede events. Lee was instrumental in building a strong relationship between the Stampede and the Military- a relationship that I was told by General Rick Hillier was the most important relationship in Canada, in terms of enhancing Canada's military "brand"- this in very large part due to Lee's efforts.
My sincere sympathy to Lee's family. I know you will be comforted in your loss by lots of warm and wonderful memories of Lee.
Lee was a fine gentleman who served his country well. He will be missed. Our condolences.
I am deeply sorry to her of Lee's passing. I remember The times that we served on the Friends of The Colonel Belcher Society Board. Lee was a strong adversary for the care of the Veterans. He was fun and contributed much to the Board. Rest in Peace Dear Friend.
To the family of Lee, please accept my condolences. I worked with him for many years and he was very fair to everyone. RIP, Lee

Having grown up on Gissing Drive, we were very fortunate to have such good neighbours as the Thompsons. At his 90th. birthday party he was so full of life and enjoyed having his family around him. Take care Nancy, as I am thinking about you and your family.

Our condolences to the Thompson family. I met Lee and Liz shortly after I moved to Calgary when I transferred to 14 Service Battalion. Both were strong supporters to the Battalion and myself during our time there. I will miss his wit and humor. Gail and Tim Haight
Our deepest sympathy and condolences to the family. Knowing Mr T. most of my life was a joy, he had a great sense of humour and a depth of knowledge that was amazing. Talking to him before our trip to Italy about Ortona and Moro River gave us a deeper understanding of the sacrifices made by Canadians during World War II.
Liz and Lee were good friends to Mom and Dad and great neighbours.
He will be missed!
Rhonda, Tim, Ryan, Robyn and family
Please accept my sincere sympathy and condolences in your loss. I met Lee 36 years ago and I can't think of anyone I enjoyed and bugged more during those 36 years. Lee was a wonderful person and friend who will be remembered forever. RIP my dear buddy!
