Obituary of Karen Bennett (nee Smith)

Karen Bennett of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at the age of 57 years.

Karen was born in Glasgow, Scotland, on May 20, 1965. She moved to Frankfurt, Ontario in 1967, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in 1977 and then to Calgary, Alberta, Canada in 1988. Karen was very proud of her Scottish heritage and was lucky enough to visit her homeland with her significant other, Kerry. When Karen moved to Calgary, she joined a family business where she loved to work at called Par 57. One thing Karen always looked forward to was spending time with her three grandchildren.

Karen is survived by her two sons, Colin and Conner; her daughter-in-law Shania; and three grandsons, Landon, Griffin and Maverick. Karen is also survived by her four sisters, Joan, Susan, Helen and Lynn; as well as five brothers, Thomas (Scotland), George, Colin, Ian and Allan. 

Karen was predeceased by her mom Elizabeth, dad George, her significant other Kerry, as well as her nephew Shaun.
