Condolences
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. Sending love and Hugs, Marcia
Dear Marilee and family,
Sending my deepest sympathy and condolences.
I will always remember Gord's smile and sense of humor, and it was an honor to have known him and be part of his care.
I pray that he now flies free, and that you are able to find peace and comfort in these difficult times.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do.

Sending love to your family at this very sad time. Thinking of of you with care. Love from The Minerson family
Dear Marilee, Christine and Matthew,
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I adored Mr. Jasper, and his friendship meant a lot to my parents. I still talk about the things he taught me in high school biology, standing in the Bow River in waders eight sizes too big to collect samples, and how he got me my first job at the Stampede. So many fond memories of our families spending time together. Sending love and prayers to you all.
Much love,
Lynne Checkley McLaughlin
Our heartfelt condolences to Marilee and all of her family on Gord’s passing. It was an honour getting to know you both and seeing the love you so obviously shared.

Dear Marilee and family! So sorry to hear about the passing of Gord. He was a great man and I recall some good laughs together during the old Campbell Stone Church days. His spirit lives on through all of us .... xoxo

Dear Marilee and family
We were so sorry to hear about Gord’s passing. Although we never had the pleasure of meeting him, over the past 10 years, we heard about Gord and his well-being from your sister Donna (our our good friend and neighbour). Our deepest thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Gordon had many interests. First and foremost, he was a great husband and father, also an interesting cousin, uncle, grandfather, friend and teacher.
At home he was surrounded by paper and books. He was the student, looking for more information to share with his students. He was determined to do his part in saving the world. He had Marilee and the family recycling long before most of us even knew what it was. I remember being in their home and watching them cleaning cans and then crushing them flat for recycling. When i asked why, he was very happy to sit me down and explain it - in great detail. Ha ha
He was a life long learner and, as a teacher, he had a dedicated audience every day in the classroom. He taught what he was told to teach, but i suspect his students, who were important to him, learned more about the environment, climate change how to help as individuals. He was ahead of most of us.
What i remember most was his laughter, the pipes and a good story.
You will be missed by many Gord. Cousin Jean
