Obituary of Blair Michael Fulop

Blair Fulop of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022, at the age of 59 years.

Blair was born in Tulsa, OK on July 8, 1963. He immigrated to Canada in 2005, from the United States and moved to Calgary, Alberta in 2021.

Blair graduated from Oklahoma City High School. He had a passion for word search puzzles, wrestling, football, life, smoking and visiting with family and friends. Blair was particularly proud of living a long life far beyond what was predicted for him due to birth medical heart condition.

Blair’s most memorable vacation was when he and his sister travelled to several U.S. states and move to Canada his family’s home country.

"Don’t think of him as gone away his journey’s just begun, life holds so many facets this earth is only one. Just think of him as resting from the sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years.

Think how he must be wishing that we could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away. And think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched…for nothing loved is ever lost and he was loved so much.”.

He will be most remembered for his kind soul, positive attitude and as Baby Brother.

Blair is survived by his sister Brenda Heather Louise Fulop Hricziscse; his nephew Joshua Isaac Hricziscse (Anna); and great-nephew Joseph Reid Hricziscse. Blair was predeceased by his two brothers, Blake Wayne Fulop and Brett Aurthus Ellis Joseph Fulop; his parents, Ellis, and Elva Scott Fulop; and his grandparents, Elva Ester and Arthur John MacFarlane, and Ellis and Julia Toth Fulop.
