In loving memory of Gladys Irene Jessop

Gladys passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at the age of 86 years after a brave battle with Alzheimer’s and cancer. 

Gladys was born on March 25, 1936 in Calmar, Alberta to William (Bill) and Emma Kneller.

Gladys is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Chalmers and Cynthie (Cindy) Hunter; grandchildren, Jay Berger and Chris Hunter; and great-grandchildren, McKayla, Maddison, and McKenna. She is predeceased by her parents Bill and Emma Kneller, her husband James (Jim) Jessop, son Randall Hunter, and sister Edna Kary.

Gladys enjoyed and was proficient on the sewing machine, making many school clothes for her children, enjoyed creating stained glass artwork and was a great cook.

At the age of 55 Gladys received her certificate for hair dressing from Henderson Collage and enjoyed time as a professional hairdresser. 

With this announcement the family thanks the staff at AgeCare SkyPointe for the excellent care given to Gladys in her last years.
