Condolences
To My Sister Karen.
Its very hard to see you leave.. I wish I could have taken your place..
We had fun growing up on Elise Terrace. Those were the days..
I love you dearly, and I will see you again my when my time has come...
You know I don't believe in death... One night when I was on my walk, I heard
you laughing with Mom and Dad and Steve...
You will all be in my heart.. I'm so sorry for Rick and your kids...

Celebration of Life was beautiful. Would have loved to have attended but this virtual celebration was truly the next best thing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Lots of love,
Wendy Obergan
I am so sorry to hear of Karen's passing. It is such a devastating loss for your family and for everyone Karen touched. I had the opportunity to work with her at Auburn Bay. For 5 years she was the friendly face greeting me each morning. We shared a fear of winter driving, and love of appies. I miss the conversations, both big and small, that we used to have. She was a genuinely good person that was taken too soon. My condolances to all of you.
Dear Rick, Shelley, Greg and Mike
I was a friend of Karen's and the family for over 20 years. I have so many wonderful memories with her, my dear friend. We worked together at Eugene Coste School, where our children attended. Both of us moved on to other schools but still were very close friends, living about 3 blocks from each other. Attended many events together with CBE, training etc. and new schools, she was the go to person when I didn't know how to do things. We got together often for dinner and breakfasts after we both retired, sometimes shopping was included. My husband, Lynn and I enjoyed the gatherings at Rick & Karen's for Football games and also getting to meet her dear friends and family in a close setting. There is not a day that goes by that I will not think of her and all her kindness!! Friends forever.
Love Lynn and Gail
I was surprised and heart broken to hear of Karen’s passing. Karen and I shred many a laugh since we met at Eugene Coste School almost 20 years ago. Rick, Shelley, Greg and Mike please accept our deepest condolences.

My sincere condolences to the family on your sudden and immense loss of Karen.
When I heard that Karen was sick, me and my family prayed for her. It was a shock when we all heard, Karen was my Sister Laura sister in law and when we met Karen we instantly all became family. Karen had a heart of gold, and we had so many great times together, we loved bowling, and when we heard the right song her and I would jump up and do the bump. We use to all get together at Gus and Murna place and have a few drinks and sing Kareroki . Loved her so much. RIP Karen until we meet again.
Love Sylvia ( Laura Sister.)
