Condolences
My condolences to the family. I will always remember Rita as one of the most inspiring person's I have ever met. She'll be missed.
My deepest condolences to Rita's Family . I always enjoyed our visits every 2 weeks for the past 15 Years, she loved having her nails done and catching up with our busy lives, we laughed and cried together as we shared our stories. Rita made the best beets, she invited me over a few years back and shared her recipe with me. i now make them every year . Thank you for your wonderful friendship .
My condolences to the family. I always enjoyed her company at Agility competitions, she was a wonder with her pups! I actually heard about Rita many years ago when I lived in Ontario, she is well known for her great success in Agility with her Beagles. It was one of my happy memories to finally meet this legend when I moved to Alberta in 2015. We will miss you Rita!
My sincere condolences to your family as you grieve the loss of Rita. I have always enjoyed catching up with Rita at dog events, and over the last few years, I have been able to enjoy judging Rita and her beagles in agility. I always enjoyed when Rita and Lacey would enter the ring as Lacey always had much to say to Rita. Rita showed tremendous dedication and patience, and excelled at many dog sports, with numerous beagles. I will miss the chats over the fence when Rita came to visit Kara in Edmonton.
Kara, Chris & Family. Our thoughts, prayers & sympathy are with you all. We first met Rita when she & your Dad were dating. Her friendliness & beautiful smile touched us from the very beginning. She was so good about keeping in contact & in the loop with your family adventures. She was a beautiful spirit who left this world a better place.
Condolences to the family. I have spend many fun days with Rita and our pups. Whether we we entered in a trial or just practicing. Always a good time. Rally, Obedience and so many agility trials. RIP my friend.
My condolences to Dennis and all of Rita's family and friends on her passing. May she rest in eternal peace.
My deepest condolences to the O’Hallaron family as they mourn the departure of Rita, a Dynamic Fortress of the family. May her soul rest in the Blissful Arms of the Lord. And to the family left behind, may the sentiments of biblical Job be yours - the Lord gives and the Lord takes, may His name be blessed.
May the same Lord richly and abundantly bless and console you!
One of my favourite earlier memories of Rita was the Cross Canada trip I was able to go on with her and the family. Rita made sure the kids and I had lots of activities and food (I distinctly remember her making us many peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on the road). My more recent memories are of visiting and being able to spend time with Rita and the dogs. Whether it was kids traveling cross country or Beagles in the backyard Rita made sure everyone was cared for. So sorry for your loss Kara, Christopher & family.
My deepest condolences to the O’Halloran Family on the passing of Rita. A beautiful person whom I spent time with in the early years when our kids attended elementary school together. RIP Rita

Sending our love on the passing of your mom. She was a great friend to my parents! I will always remember her being a kind and caring person.
Rita was a bright light, she brought so much joy to so many people. She embodies dedication, determination and kindness.
My thoughts are with you during this difficult time
I am so very sorry for the loss of your mother, grandmother. Such a hard loss. The last time I saw Rita was at a scent trial. We had a chat about her beagles and my Shiba’s being unusual breeds for showing in all the dog sports we did. Rita loved her Beagles so much. And in the last few times I had seen her she was talking about grandchildren. I will sorely miss her at the events we used to attend together!! She was such a lovely lovely lady!!
So Sorry for the loss of your Mom, Mother-in-law and Grandma.
Kara, Cam, Chris, Sarah, Layton, Brock, Evan and Forest. The Love you all shared with that Special Person was very unique, hold on to those precious memories and Perhaps your hearts won’t seem to hurt so bad.
Sending big hugs to you all.
Gordon and Barb Reeves
Our heartfelt condolences to the family for your loss. Wanda and I met Rita through sister Berniece & Jack and had many enjoyable times at Rita & Doug's annual aggravation tournaments. Rita was such a kind person and always so full of energy
Chris, Kara,
I’m very sorry for your loss and want you to know my thoughts are with you and your families.
I hope all the joy your mom gave and the wonderful memories you have can help you through this difficult time.
Rita and I met at Colonel Macleod School where she was the Calgary Board of Education library assistant extraordinaire. I was lucky enough to teach alongside of her in the library at Col. Macleod and also at James Fowler High School. We truly brought out the best in each other at work. Work led us to build a bond through which we shared many activities - like agility classes. We continued to have a strong and close friendship over the years which included our husbands and all of our dogs. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Kara, Christopher and all who loved Rita like we did.
