Obituary of Luigi Enrico Berti

March 11, 1930 – London, England

January 27, 2023 – Calgary, Alberta

 

Luigi (Lou) Berti of Calgary, AB, beloved husband of Elizabeth (Betty) Berti (nee Taylor) passed away on Friday, January 27, 2023, at the age of 92 years.

 

He is survived by his children, Tony and Kim; grandson Oliver; great-granddaughter Willow; sister Gina Beschizza; daughters-in-law, Sandra and Lucy; and son-in-law Ron.

 

Lou is predeceased by the love of his life Elizabeth (Betty) and his eldest sister Margaret Roberts.

 

A Celebration of Luigi's Life will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Deerfoot South, 12281 – 40th Street SE, Calgary, AB) on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. (5:30 p.m. UK time)

 

Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Mr. Berti’s service streamed live (see below) on the day of the service. For those who are unable to view live, a recording of the service will be posted. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
