Obituary of Frances Eileen Kitchingham

Frances Kitchingham of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at the age of 87 years.

Frances was born in London, England. She moved to Canada in her early adulthood and lived most of her life in Calgary, AB. Frances worked for over 40 years with Mobil Oil before retiring.

Frances was a vibrant and involved member of a number of community groups, including Beta Sigma Phi, MnM Outdoor Club, and Skrastins Outdoor Club. She had a deep appreciation for music: she regularly attended the Calgary Civic Orchestra and volunteered with the Esther Honens International Piano Competition Foundation. Frances valued travel and the influence of other cultures and had many exciting stories about her travels to New Zealand, Tibet, Bhutan, and Nepal.

Frances is survived by her sister Sheila, nephew John, her extended Maylor and Marlow family, and many cherished friends.
