Sandra Wallington (Sandy) of Calgary, AB, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at the age of 63 years.

Sandy was born in Calgary, AB on March 23, 1959.

Sandy accomplished much throughout her life and was particularly proud of her children and grandchildren and all their accomplishments. Sandy took great joy in being a mother and grandmother and was often referred to by others as a second mom. She was beyond proud to rescue her pets to give them a better life and adored them dearly. She always worked hard and thoroughly enjoyed her career in customer service. She never gave up and always tried to find the positive in every situation and the good in all those that she met. She was strong-willed and could take on the world without a doubt.

Sandy had a true passion for crafting and attending markets, baking, being silly with her grandkids, and attending all their milestones and events. Sandy also really enjoyed listening to music, family gatherings, and playing games. Her sense of humour and gestures were like no other; she always found a way to brighten your day and make you laugh. Sandy had a way of always finding creative ways of doing things and making things easier. She took pride in helping others and would always put others before herself.

Sandy is survived by her children, Randy (Roslyn), Tamara, and Mikyla (Matthew); and her five grandchildren, Maliyah, Colin, Siraya, Lucas, and Jason, of Calgary, AB. Sandy is also survived by her mother Betty Simison, two sisters, Beth Goertz (Dennis) and Cherry Eastcott (Dave); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Sandra was predeceased by her father August Welter (Gus) and her nephew Jason Eastcott.

She will truly be missed by many as she made a significant impact on all those that knew her.
