Obituary of Vicki Anne Mowat

March 30, 1955 – East York, Ontario

February 2, 2023 – Calgary, Alberta

Vicki Mowat (nee McWilliam), of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at the age of 67 years.

Vicki was born in East York, Ontario on March 30, 1955. She moved to Calgary, Alberta, Canada in 1998. She was a member of the Whitehorn Seniors Committee. Vicki loved to spend time with her friends, dancing, singing, bowling, and her most memorable vacations were when she had girls-weekends with Jenni, Bev, and Linda.

Vicki accomplished much through her life and was particularly proud of accounting career for 40 plus years and being a Granny to four grandchildren.

Vicki is survived by her daughter Sarah Mowat, and grandson Zepherin Bruckner of Vancouver, BC; her son Russell Mowat, her granddaughters, Madison Mowat, Caitlyn Mowat, and her grandson Connor Mowat of Calgary, AB; and her dog Betsey of twelve years.

She is also survived by her brother Michael McWilliam of Toronto, ON. Vicki was predeceased by her parents, Warren McWilliam and Shirley McWilliam (nee Dolan).

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Chapel of The Bells, 2720 Centre Street North, Calgary, AB), on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 10:00 am. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Mrs. Mowat’s service streamed live (see below) on the day of the service. For those who are unable to view live, a recording of the service will be posted.
